Description

  • Identify patterns in payment processing success, chargeback rates, and fraud rates by analyzing large data sets.
  • Monitor and forecast payment-related metrics such as acceptance rate and fraud rate.
  • Build financial and statistical models to understand the drivers of key business performance indicators.
  • Track payment acceptance trends and recommend changes to processor allocation strategies when performance shifts occur.
  • Review transaction and chargeback data across card brands, processors, and gateways to identify anomalies and recommend solutions.
  • Make recommendations to improve operations, anti-fraud processes, and system enhancements.
  • Work closely with the development team to implement changes to the internal e-commerce platform that support payment strategies.
  • Help design reporting and tools needed to review and manage e-commerce operations.
  • Collaborate across Finance, Platform, Customer Support, Product, and Marketing to drive results.
  • Present analysis and recommendations to senior executives and act as a business partner across departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
  • 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, statistics, or a highly analytical finance role.
  • Experience building complex financial models and conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and scenario analysis.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience presenting analysis to senior executives and partnering across departments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, or Business Analytics is preferred.
  • Experience with SiSense, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is preferred.
  • Previous experience in payments is a plus.
