Description

  • Work on data science projects involving NLP, large language models, predictive modeling, statistical analysis, vector space modeling, and machine learning.
  • Use rich user data sets to research opportunities, develop models, and create data products with Development and Product teams.
  • Develop novel, scalable data systems with system architects that use machine learning to improve the user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Portals, BI, Product, and Legal, to deliver end-to-end products and features.
  • Estimate effort, identify risks, define schedules, and help ensure project delivery on time.
  • Run review meetings and drive closure of open issues.
  • Evolve prompt engineering applications and benchmark large language models to solve business problems.
  • Implement and experiment with agentic workflows to improve the job seeker experience.
  • Mentor and coach data scientists while providing technical leadership.
  • Take a broad view of product and team impact beyond individual tasks.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Project Lead in Data Science.
  • Ability to handle a team of 2-5 members when required.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with statistical and machine learning algorithms, including regression, instance-based learning, decision trees, Bayesian statistics, clustering, neural networks, deep learning, and ensemble methods.
  • Expert knowledge of Python.
  • Experience with frameworks that optimize prompt engineering, such as LangChain or CrewAI.
  • Practical LLM/RAG experience for search quality, including query understanding, semantic retrieval, and reranker design.
  • Experience with Solr, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with embedding and vector search.
  • Experience using large language models.
  • Experience with distributed, semantic, and vector-based search and matching systems.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, chain-of-thought, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and preferably LLM agents.
  • Experience in feature selection and building and optimizing classifiers.
  • Experience with software stack components such as common programming languages, back-end technologies, database modeling, continuous integration, services-oriented architecture, and software testability.
  • Experience with LangChain and/or LlamaIndex.
  • Keen learner with enthusiasm for developing software.
