Description

  • Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise physical security systems, with a focus on Genetec Security Center, Synergis access control, and video surveillance.
  • Program and configure new security devices, system expansions, upgrades, and Day 2 operational enhancements across APAC environments.
  • Monitor system health, optimize availability, and resolve issues affecting physical security infrastructure performance.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, backups, firmware updates, log reviews, and preventative maintenance.
  • Manage service requests and break-fix incidents in Zendesk, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
  • Configure access control systems, manage load sheets, and maintain Genetec system settings for operational and project needs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, installers, and site stakeholders on maintenance, service requests, and site access.
  • Support testing and commissioning activities, including pre-test validation, T&C reporting, punch list management, and system acceptance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, service metrics, trackers, and reporting for maintenance activities and special projects.
  • Partner with global security technology teams to improve performance, standardize configurations, and support enterprise security initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience programming, administering, and supporting enterprise physical security systems.
  • Expert knowledge of Genetec Security Center, including Synergis Access Control and video surveillance solutions.
  • Hands-on experience administering, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise Genetec deployments.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent service requests, maintenance activities, and deployment projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with enterprise physical security devices such as cameras, access control panels, and integrated security hardware.
  • Understanding of network and information security concepts, including LAN/WAN, IP addressing, DHCP, MAC addresses, VPNs, firewalls, and Active Directory/domains.
  • Strong project management, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with global teams, vendors, installers, and technology partners.
  • Genetec Security Center technical certification strongly preferred, including SC-STC-001 and/or SC-ETC-002.
  • Must reside in Singapore and be available for occasional travel to client offices approximately twice per quarter.
