Description

  • Design scalable training curricula and adult-learning frameworks for public health clients.
  • Conduct training-needs assessments and workforce capacity diagnostics with the evaluation team.
  • Provide technical assistance through coaching, workshops, office hours, resource walkthroughs, and peer exchanges.
  • Prepare public health messengers for meetings, presentations, legislative outreach, and partner engagement.
  • Build trusted relationships with public health leaders, municipal officials, and partner organizations.
  • Assess organizational readiness, identify implementation barriers, and recommend targeted strategies.
  • Develop implementation evaluation frameworks, success indicators, and qualitative and quantitative data-collection methods.
  • Document technical-assistance activities, partner feedback, outcomes, and emerging needs.
  • Manage client projects and relationships while maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Identify business development opportunities, source relevant RFPs, and support new-client outreach.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience, including 4 or more years in a consulting firm environment.
  • At least 5 years of client-facing experience, including 2 or more years in project leadership roles.
  • Master’s degree in public health, health education, adult learning, public administration, or a related field.
  • Experience providing technical assistance, coaching, training, or implementation support to public-sector, public health, or community-serving organizations.
  • Subject matter expertise in workforce development, such as competency-based curriculum design, recruitment and retention, or workforce planning.
  • Strong adult-learning, facilitation, relationship-management, and practical strategy-translation skills.
  • Ability to independently manage a high-trust client portfolio, coordinate follow-up, and document partner needs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Must live in Massachusetts or have deep knowledge of Massachusetts’ public health landscape.
  • Preferred: people management, program evaluation, mixed-methods research, implementation learning, organizational change, coalition building, or equity-centered engagement experience.
  • Must be authorized to work without employer-sponsored visa support.

  • Annual salary range of $91,520–$151,840.
  • Remote-first work environment with occasional travel to client sites, conferences, trainings, or meetings.
