Description

  • Lead two teams: a Dev Tooling team (CI/CD pipelines, developer experience, internal platforms) and a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team (system health, performance, secops, incident response).
  • Define, own, and implement the infrastructure and tooling roadmap in partnership with product, data, and engineering teams.
  • Improve deployment, monitoring, incident management, and release engineering processes to increase speed and reliability of releases.
  • Drive adoption of GitOps practices and MLOps/AI-related infrastructure and CI/CD tooling.
  • Manage operational risk and ensure product technical health by partnering closely with Product and Engineering leadership.
  • Participate in technical and architecture reviews across teams and the broader engineering organization.
  • Drive cost visibility, forecasting, and accountability across AWS environments and optimize cloud spend aligned with product and business outcomes.
  • Embed and advance DevSecOps, Terraform governance, incident response practices, and infrastructure security standards across platforms.
  • Mentor, develop, and scale high-performing remote-first engineering teams and improve cross-team communication, reuse, and ownership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years building and operating Enterprise SaaS products (decade+ experience).
  • Proven experience leading high-performing, remote-first product and infrastructure teams and scaling engineering organizations.
  • Deep prior practitioner experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering within AWS environments.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS/ECS, Lambda/Serverless, Kinesis, Step Functions, Cost Explorer, and Terraform.
  • Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, developer platforms, and GitOps workflows, with experience or interest in MLOps/AI workflows.
  • Experience managing cloud operating costs at a team or product level, including cost visibility and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with Agile development and engineering metrics (DORA, DevEx, reliability) and using them to shape team performance.
  • Experience embedding DevSecOps and infrastructure security best practices, Terraform governance, and improving incident response and risk management.
  • Strong communicator with high emotional intelligence, demonstrated ability to mentor, manage performance, and drive change.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and located in the continental United States (role is fully remote).
  • Nice to have: experience running distributed/event- or data-based products, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and proven experience implementing and scaling MLOps or AI-related GitOps and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Base salary range $175,000 - $210,000 (annualized) with additional benefits package.
