Description

  • Design and maintain enterprise data architecture strategies and scalable data solutions.
  • Lead architecture discussions with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend modernization opportunities.
  • Design logical and physical data models for operational and analytical use cases.
  • Lead data integration, transformation, and interoperability initiatives.
  • Define standards and best practices for data management, governance, and architecture.
  • Support enterprise data lake, warehouse, and reporting initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical standards.
  • Ensure solutions align with security, scalability, and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on implementation and delivery strategies.
  • Support data lifecycle management and long-term maintainability.
  • Mentor technical teams and provide architecture guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise data management.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture principles and design methodologies.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration strategies.
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms and analytics ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data lifecycle best practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional technical initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience architecting and delivering solutions within Databricks environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Databricks Lakehouse architecture, workflows, and enterprise-scale implementation strategies.
  • Must be eligible for federal contracting and client-specific work authorization requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders).
  • Experience with AWS and cloud-native data architecture (preferred).
  • Experience with data lakes, warehouses, and distributed data systems (preferred).
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics or machine learning environments (preferred).
  • Experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives (preferred).
  • Experience with architecture frameworks and documentation tools (preferred).
