Description

  • Lead stakeholder interviews and discovery workshops to understand goals, workflows, and pain points.
  • Document current and future processes, business rules, data definitions, and edge cases.
  • Break project scope into estimable epics and user stories for sizing and planning.
  • Identify and resolve assumptions, risks, dependencies, open questions, and scope changes.
  • Write user stories and testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
  • Partner with Product Managers to prioritize and groom backlogs for two-week sprints.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers in Figma to validate user flows and screens.
  • Support engineers during development and keep requirements updated as decisions change.
  • Work with QA to align acceptance criteria with test coverage.
  • Support sprint demos and coordinate client user acceptance testing.
  • Maintain organized requirements documentation in Google Drive.
  • Capture compliance, security, and audit requirements, including SOC 2 considerations.
  • Serve as a client point of contact and translate clearly between business and technical teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role on software projects.
  • Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience leading discovery sessions and converting ambiguous input into structured requirements.
  • Ability to perform business-level process mapping and data modeling.
  • Hands-on Jira experience, with familiarity with Figma and collaborative documentation tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, including comfort leading meetings with U.S. stakeholders.
  • Technical literacy in APIs, integrations, databases, and system constraints.
  • Experience in an agency, consultancy, or software services environment (preferred).
  • Exposure to regulated or compliance-heavy domains such as SOC 2, telecom, education, or fintech (preferred).
  • Experience with third-party integrations, project estimation, or proposal work (preferred).
  • Familiarity with web application technologies such as Laravel, React, and AWS (preferred).
