Description

  • Manually test web applications to verify functionality, usability, and reliability across releases.
  • Develop test plans and create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases.
  • Debug issues, investigate defects, and verify fixes through repeatable test steps.
  • Report, track, and communicate defects and testing status to engineering and product teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to understand requirements and deliver on commitments.
  • Own assigned work, estimates, schedules, and the quality of deliverables with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Apply forensic attention to detail to identify subtle issues and edge cases.
  • Contribute to process improvements, testing practices, and knowledge sharing within the consultancy team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience testing web products.
  • Solid knowledge of testing tools and methodologies.
  • Experience developing test plans, writing test cases, and performing debugging/defect investigation.
  • Additional knowledge of web technologies (front-end/web stacks).
  • Ability to take extreme ownership and meet agreed-upon estimates and processes.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and strong client-focus in a consultancy environment.
  • Forensic attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Eligible and available to work remotely from Latin America (role lists Cartago, Costa Rica as location).
