Description

  • Manage software development projects across scope, budget, resources, timelines, and concurrent workstreams.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain client dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Manage formal risk registers, project dependencies, and change-control processes.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Lead Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and manage milestone- and gate-based acceptance criteria.
  • Provide client-facing status reports and communicate project progress to stakeholders and executives.
  • Translate technical concepts for non-technical clients and resolve project conflicts.
  • Oversee complex systems and distributed engineering teams while maintaining accountability for deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Experience delivering projects against fixed, immovable external deadlines.
  • Experience managing scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, dependencies, and change control.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies and client deliverables.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience with milestone-based acceptance criteria and client-facing reporting.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar.
  • Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Experience working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; ability to overlap US business hours required.
  • PMP, CSM, or PSM certification preferred.
  • Experience with regulatory/compliance projects and US-LATAM nearshore delivery teams preferred.
