Description

  • Manage software development projects across scope, budget, resources, timelines, and concurrent workstreams.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain client dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Manage risk registers, mitigation plans, and formal change-control processes.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Lead Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and manage milestone- and gate-based acceptance criteria.
  • Provide client-facing status reports and communicate project progress to stakeholders and executives.
  • Translate technical concepts for non-technical clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve project risks, dependencies, conflicts, and delivery issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Experience managing complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Experience delivering against fixed, immovable deadlines such as product launches or trade shows.
  • Experience managing project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience using Jira, Asana, or similar project tracking tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; PMP, CSM, or PSM certification preferred.
  • Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven projects and nearshore US-LATAM delivery teams preferred.
  • Ability to overlap US business hours.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, attention to detail, and client focus.
