Description

  • Manage project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and dependencies across concurrent workstreams.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain client dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and manage milestone- and gate-based acceptance criteria.
  • Provide client-facing project status updates and translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders and executives.
  • Manage formal risk registers, change-control processes, and project issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with distributed engineering teams and maintain accountability for deliverables and team commitments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Experience managing complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Experience with fixed external deadlines, critical paths, and project buffers.
  • Experience managing scope, budgets, resourcing, timelines, risks, dependencies, and change control.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience using Jira, Asana, or similar project tracking tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; PMP, CSM, or PSM certification preferred.
  • Ability to overlap US business hours; experience with regulatory projects or US-LATAM nearshore teams preferred.
