Description

  • Manage software development projects across scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain client dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Manage risk registers, change-control processes, project risks, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Define milestone and gate-based acceptance criteria and provide client-facing status reports.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and translate technical concepts for clients and executives.
  • Resolve project issues and conflicts while maintaining accountability for deliverables and team commitments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience delivering against fixed, immovable deadlines such as product launches or trade shows.
  • Experience managing project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, dependencies, and change control.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience with Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools.
  • Experience working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to overlap US business hours; PMP, CSM, or PSM certification and regulatory/compliance project experience preferred.
