Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain low-latency API services and scalable RESTful APIs in AWS.
  • Build secure multi-tenant environments and integrate SDKs with external services.
  • Develop and maintain PostgreSQL/AuroraDB schemas, migrations, and raw SQL queries.
  • Contribute to React-based frontend development when needed as part of full-stack delivery.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD applications and deployment workflows.
  • Implement integration testing with real databases and failure-mode or fault-injection testing.
  • Collaborate with clients and distributed team members while meeting project commitments.
  • Apply software development best practices and take ownership of deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, backend-focused software development experience.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building low-latency AWS services and scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security.
  • Experience creating secure multi-tenant systems, writing raw SQL, and managing schema migrations with tools such as node-postgres or node-pg-migrate.
  • Professional experience with React and a solid understanding of full-stack development.
  • Experience with integration testing, real databases, and failure-mode or fault-injection testing.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants in daily development and maintaining CI/CD systems.
  • Substantial experience working with large, complex systems and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree, ability to overlap US business hours, strong ownership, attention to detail, and client-focused communication.
  • Experience with append-only, event-sourced, or bitemporal data models (preferred).
  • Experience with Fastify, Zod or similar schema-first validation, AWS Fargate/ECS, or compliance-sensitive domains (preferred).
