Description

  • Design and develop low-latency API services and scalable RESTful APIs in AWS.
  • Build secure multi-tenant environments and integrate external services through SDKs.
  • Develop and maintain PostgreSQL/AuroraDB systems, including schemas, migrations, raw SQL, and row-level security.
  • Contribute to full-stack development, including React frontend work when needed.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD applications and workflows.
  • Implement strong testing practices, including integration, database, failure-mode, and fault-injection testing.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver high-quality solutions and meet commitments.
  • Apply software development best practices while taking ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, backend-focused software development experience.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building low-latency AWS services and scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or AuroraDB, including row-level security, raw SQL, and schema migrations.
  • Experience building secure multi-tenant environments and integrating external SDKs.
  • Professional experience with React and a solid understanding of full-stack development.
  • Experience with CI/CD application creation and maintenance.
  • Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and fault-injection testing.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants in daily development.
  • Experience working with large, complex systems; a bachelor's degree is required.
  • Ability to overlap with US business hours and demonstrate ownership, problem-solving, attention to detail, and client focus.
  • Experience with append-only, event-sourced, or bitemporal data models is preferred.
  • Experience with Fastify, schema-first validation such as Zod, AWS Fargate/ECS, or compliance-sensitive domains is preferred.
