Description

  • Design and develop low-latency API services and scalable RESTful APIs on AWS.
  • Build secure multi-tenant application environments and database systems.
  • Integrate SDKs and external services into client applications.
  • Develop and maintain PostgreSQL/AuroraDB schemas, raw SQL, and database migrations.
  • Contribute to frontend development with React when needed.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD applications and delivery pipelines.
  • Implement integration, database, failure-mode, and fault-injection testing.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver high-quality software and meet commitments.
  • Apply software development best practices and take ownership of deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, backend-focused software development experience.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building low-latency AWS services and scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with SDK integrations and large, complex systems.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, Row-Level Security, raw SQL, and schema migrations such as node-postgres or node-pg-migrate.
  • Professional experience with React and full-stack development.
  • Experience with strong testing practices, including real-database integration tests and fault-injection testing.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants in daily development and maintaining CI/CD applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; ability to overlap US business hours.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, ownership, accountability, and client-focused collaboration.
  • Preferred: experience with event-sourced or bitemporal data models, Fastify, Zod, AWS Fargate/ECS, or compliance-sensitive domains.
