Description

  • Design and develop low-latency API services and scalable RESTful APIs in AWS.
  • Build SDK integrations with external services.
  • Develop secure multi-tenant environments using PostgreSQL or AuroraDB.
  • Write raw SQL and manage database schema migrations.
  • Contribute to frontend development with React when needed.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD applications and pipelines.
  • Implement comprehensive testing, including database integration and fault-injection tests.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver high-quality software.
  • Take ownership and accountability for project deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, backend-focused software development experience.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with AWS, scalable RESTful APIs, and low-latency services.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security.
  • Experience building secure multi-tenant systems and managing schema migrations with tools such as node-postgres or node-pg-migrate.
  • Professional experience with React and full-stack development.
  • Experience with CI/CD, complex systems, and AI coding assistants.
  • Strong testing, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and software engineering best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to overlap US business hours and demonstrate strong ownership and client focus.
  • Preferred: experience with event-sourced or bitemporal data models, Fastify, Zod, AWS Fargate/ECS, or compliance-sensitive domains.
