Description

  • Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using services such as ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
  • Operate Aurora/PostgreSQL production systems, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica-lag monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Build and manage containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
  • Automate deployments and validate rollback procedures through regular rollback drills.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, observability, load testing, latency SLOs, and error budgets.
  • Apply security, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance, and infrastructure-hardening practices.
  • Support SOC 2 evidence collection, client security reviews, incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with clients and consulting teams to deliver reliable solutions across complex projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
  • Strong hands-on AWS experience, including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
  • Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production.
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, Docker, ECS/Fargate, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with deployment automation, tested rollback paths, and rollback drills.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or similar monitoring and observability tools.
  • Experience with k6 or similar load-testing tools and operating services against latency SLOs and error budgets.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance, and security hardening.
  • Experience supporting SOC 2 or similar audits, incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree, ability to overlap US business hours, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ownership, accountability, and client focus.
  • Experience with S3 Object Lock, archival retention, secure multi-tenant environments, PostgreSQL Row-Level Security, database migrations, or compliance-sensitive domains is preferred.
