Description

  • Design end-to-end Snowflake data, analytics, BI, and AI architectures.
  • Lead migrations from legacy data platforms to Snowflake, including assessment, strategy, and cutover planning.
  • Architect and oversee AI and GenAI solutions using Snowflake Cortex and related tools.
  • Set technical standards for data modeling, dbt development, performance, cost optimization, security, and governance.
  • Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex client challenges.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, BI Developers, and Consultants.
  • Conduct code and design reviews to maintain delivery quality and best practices.
  • Translate business goals into analytics roadmaps, KPIs, and measurable outcomes.
  • Oversee concurrent client engagements, managing scope, timelines, risks, quality, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support pre-sales through discovery, solution design, assessments, estimation, pricing, SOWs, and proposals.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or BI, including significant client-facing consulting, pre-sales, or post-sales experience.
  • 4+ years of technical team leadership experience, including mentoring and developing engineers.
  • Deep hands-on Snowflake experience, including architecture, performance tuning, and cost management.
  • Expert SQL skills and working proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with dbt and modern data stack tools such as Fivetran, Matillion, or Airflow.
  • Experience with legacy data warehouse platforms including Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, or SQL Server and migration projects.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, or Looker.
  • Experience scoping projects, estimating effort, and writing Statements of Work.
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise AI or GenAI use cases.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
