Description

  • Own UX and UI design from concept through launch for multiple DTC eCommerce brands.
  • Design online stores and pages that are clear, easy to use, and optimized to drive sales and conversions.
  • Create wireframes, scalable UI systems, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma.
  • Turn brand ideas into consistent, easy-to-follow visual design systems and develop/maintain brand identity guidelines across touchpoints.
  • Present design work and collaborate closely with product managers, lead designers, and developers through handoff, QA, and launch.
  • Identify usability issues, iterate on the experience, and apply proven conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices.
  • Balance fresh, innovative UI design with conversion-focused UX principles.
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, working quickly and asynchronously while meeting deadlines and communicating timeline risks proactively.

Requirements

  • Agency experience at a digital or eCommerce design agency serving multiple clients simultaneously (non-negotiable).
  • Portfolio of real, live eCommerce storefronts (not concept/Dribbble-only work); applications must include 2–3 live Shopify or Shopify Plus store URLs (non-negotiable).
  • Proven Shopify or Shopify Plus experience shipping live stores, with knowledge of themes, sections, platform constraints, and best practices (non-negotiable).
  • 2+ years designing UX/UI for eCommerce or DTC brands with agency experience required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and experience creating scalable design systems.
  • Deep understanding of mobile-first design, UX fundamentals, and accessibility.
  • Experience taking projects from idea to launch and the ability to explain the rationale behind design decisions.
  • Comfortable working fast and asynchronously across multiple clients while consistently meeting deadlines and communicating proactively.
  • Bonus: Ability to read HTML/CSS and basic understanding of front-end development to collaborate with developers.
  • Bonus: Experience in an agile, multi-client agency environment and familiarity with other eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce or Magento; remote-first work experience.
