Description

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for modernized Python and AWS-based applications.
  • Validate application behavior across the full modernization lifecycle, including integration, data migration integrity, performance, regression, and stress testing.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to align test coverage with enterprise engineering and modernization standards.
  • Implement automated test suites for APIs, data processes, and serverless workflows.
  • Identify risks, defects, and testing gaps during migration efforts and document actionable recommendations.
  • Verify data migration tools, processes, and outputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Review requirements, architecture documents, and code to ensure testability and quality alignment.
  • Work with development teams to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes across legacy and cloud-native components.
  • Maintain complete, traceable QA documentation for handoff to engineering and operations teams.
  • Track and report testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software QA, automation, or quality engineering.
  • Strong experience with functional, integration, regression, stress, and system-level testing.
  • Solid understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS), especially serverless workflows and distributed systems.
  • Experience testing APIs, event-driven systems, asynchronous workflows, and data pipelines.
  • Proficiency with test automation frameworks such as PyTest, Selenium, Postman/Newman, Robot Framework, or similar.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and/or NoSQL databases for data validation.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
  • Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience testing cloud-native or serverless architectures is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze legacy .NET applications to design effective test strategies during modernization work is preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture patterns, API versioning, and microservices testing is preferred.
  • Experience with the AWS Well-Architected Framework is preferred.
  • Understanding of data security, data privacy, access control, and compliance considerations in testing is preferred.
  • Experience testing authentication flows involving Okta, SAML, or OAuth is preferred.
  • Knowledge of performance, load, and stress testing tools is preferred.
  • Experience with automated API contract testing is preferred.
  • Experience validating IaC deployments such as Terraform or CloudFormation is preferred.
