Description

  • Monitor and analyze security, system, application, infrastructure, and cloud logs for irregularities and potential incidents.
  • Use security tools, custom dashboards, and proactive techniques to detect anomalous activity.
  • Monitor the threat and vulnerability landscape, assess security advisories, and coordinate escalations.
  • Investigate and manage security incidents and requests, including participation in major incident calls.
  • Collaborate with application security, product, GRC, and legal teams on active incidents and investigations.
  • Document incident summaries, standard operating procedures, playbooks, use cases, and knowledge-base articles.
  • Maintain and execute SOC procedures while owning responsibilities during assigned shifts.
  • Contribute to process improvements, proof-of-concepts for security tools, and team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a 24/7 Security Operations team, or a relevant cybersecurity degree/specialization with a proven project in areas such as SaaS security, SecOps, API/container security, threat intelligence/hunting, or vulnerability management.
  • Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, and EDR tools, including threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and DLP modules.
  • Experience with or exposure to CSPM tools such as SentinelOne, Falcon Horizon, Wiz, Sysdig, Prisma Cloud, or Microsoft Defender.
  • Experience assessing, interpreting, and managing vulnerabilities using relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of AWS or GCP.
  • Understanding of risk frameworks and the ability to assess emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.
  • Beginner-level understanding of the NIST framework, OSINT standards, MITRE ATT&CK, and the cybersecurity incident lifecycle; deeper knowledge is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and English communication skills.
  • Willingness to work rotating 24/7 shifts, including weekends.
  • Positive, ownership-oriented mindset with willingness to lead proof-of-concepts and develop skills.
