Description

  • Identify learning and training needs across the institute and support capacity-building planning.
  • Curate and/or create learning and training opportunities for volunteers.
  • Design and deliver training initiatives aligned with the skills and competencies framework.
  • Administer evaluations to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of learning and training sessions, courses, and resources.
  • Provide regular administrative support for learning and development functions.
  • Coordinate BCI learning and training sessions.
  • Support general resource management duties.
  • Work closely with the Directorship and other stakeholders to support the Capacity Building Division.

Requirements

  • Background in learning design or corporate education development.
  • Strong pedagogical understanding of well-designed education products.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Strong English writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance competing demands under pressure and communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems such as Moodle, or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital tools.
  • Interest in BCI core topics such as climate change, climate finance, and blockchain technology.
  • Degree or professional training in Online Learning Design, Learning and Development, or Online Learning.
  • Additional knowledge in Climate Change or Environmental Science preferred.
