Description

  • Build partnerships and long-term relationships with existing customers to retain and grow Square’s presence in large organizations.
  • Own a managed book of business, including prioritization, financial contract structuring, legal negotiations, technology strategy, and ongoing account management.
  • Identify customer challenges and goals, and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities using Square’s platform and product portfolio.
  • Partner with sales colleagues to establish and grow newly onboarded high-value customers.
  • Act as the voice of the seller by analyzing product performance and providing feedback to inform product roadmap decisions.
  • Work directly with C-level executives and technical leaders in complex, global organizations.
  • Collaborate internally with product, engineering, finance, implementation, marketing, legal, and sales teams to support customer growth.
  • Manage projects involving multiple company partners on behalf of customers.
  • Travel on site to visit customers as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, consulting, partnerships, sales, or sales engineering focused on technical products.
  • Experience managing high-value accounts and achieving revenue goals related to growth and churn prevention.
  • In-depth experience collaborating internally on complex deals or partnerships.
  • Experience gathering customer requirements and building business cases for feature development with product teams.
  • Formal sales methodology training.
  • Experience conducting formal QBRs.
  • Experience supporting go-to-market efforts for new products.
  • Experience presenting to senior decision makers, including C-level executives, IT, finance, and operations.
  • Experience working in Mid-Market Account Management is preferred.
