Description

  • Act as a product expert and co-sell with Account Executives (AEs) and Account Managers (AMs) to drive seller adoption, retention, and expansion across QSRs, FSRs, cafes, and other F&B businesses.
  • Provide consultative seller support, handle and monitor SAM escalation channels, and ensure efficient resolution of seller challenges and product issues.
  • Conduct co-selling calls and lead product demos (virtual and in-person) tailored to businesses of various sizes and F&B sub-industries.
  • Recommend tailored first- and third-party solutions across Square’s ecosystem (QSR/FSR modes, Kiosk, KDS, inventory management, CRM, team management) to unlock immediate GPV and revenue growth.
  • Develop and share proven best practices to improve product positioning, sales strategies, and funnel progress toward goals.
  • Maintain deep expertise on product offerings, ideal customer profiles, product gaps, workarounds, value propositions, and top partner integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Partnerships, Marketing, and Enablement to surface market opportunities, identify product and positioning gaps, and inform go-to-market strategy.
  • Advise and partner with Enablement on training needs, content, and delivery specific to the F&B industry and represent SAMPS in product team meetings advocating for market-driven enhancements.
  • Provide regular reporting and business reviews on program performance, industry insights, and the business impact of initiatives.
  • Allocate work roughly 80% to core AE/AM support (escalations, product inquiries, funnel progression) and 20% to cross-functional and strategic initiatives (training, enablement, product projects).

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Proven track record of consistently overachieving goals and objectives.
  • Experience with product development or working with product teams and an analytical approach to identifying market opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences.
  • Experience conducting product demos and co-selling with AEs/AMs and handling seller escalations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Capacity to assess business opportunities, understand buyer needs, and position Square effectively against competitors.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes.
  • Openness to feedback, commitment to continuous improvement, and comfort navigating changing situations and thinking quickly on your feet.
