Description

  • Collaborate with the tech lead on system architecture and development strategy.
  • Step in as acting tech lead when needed and make key technical decisions.
  • Design and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable systems and architectures.
  • Build prototypes and proof of concepts and turn them into production-ready features.
  • Lead complex full-stack development projects with a focus on outcomes.
  • Diagnose and resolve architectural, technical, and performance issues in existing systems.
  • Develop and deploy AI-driven solutions and applications.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across teams.
  • Participate in technical interviews and evaluate candidates' skills and cultural fit.
  • Present design documents, architecture diagrams, and technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of engineering experience designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
  • Extensive full-stack development experience with Python, React, Next.js, Node.js, Java, or Ruby on Rails.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and AI toolings, including large language models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks.
  • Strong expertise with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-native environments.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and NoSQL databases such as Firestore and MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience integrating external APIs and third-party services.
  • Strong cloud services experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency with Git and experience managing large, complex codebases.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and application performance issues.
  • Prior experience leading engineering teams or acting as a Tech Lead is preferred.
  • Experience building AI applications and underlying infrastructure is preferred.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and best practices is preferred.
  • Must be a US citizen or legal resident and able to work domestically.
  • Must be located in the United States.
  • Must be able to attain low-level security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance is preferred.
