Description

  • Collaborate with management, product, and design teams to shape development strategy and technical direction.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery of full-stack JavaScript solutions aligned with client goals.
  • Design and build responsive front-end applications and scalable back-end services using modern architectures.
  • Design and integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and AI-assisted features.
  • Diagnose production issues, resolve defects, and drive system improvements based on incident learnings.
  • Make technical decisions that keep projects aligned with evolving client needs and responsible AI/ML use.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support technical interviewing.
  • Communicate technical concepts, designs, and proposals clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Improve engineering practices, including CI/CD, cloud architecture, automated testing, and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Lead small or temporary project teams as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of professional full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript development experience.
  • Strong experience with React or Next.js for responsive front-end applications.
  • Proficiency with Node.js and server-side frameworks such as Express or Fastify.
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
  • Strong full-stack debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident, work domestically from the contiguous United States, and be able to attain a low-level security clearance.
  • Government contracting, cloud platform, AI/ML or LLM API integration, RAG, DevOps, Agile, and Section 508/WCAG experience are preferred.
