Description

  • Collaborate with management, product, and design teams to shape development vision and strategy.
  • Guide cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact full-stack JavaScript solutions.
  • Contribute to the program’s development strategy using modern architectures such as React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
  • Design and build responsive front-end interfaces and scalable back-end services across the full stack.
  • Design and integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and AI-assisted features such as LLM workflows, document processing, or RAG.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in owned systems and use incidents to drive improvements.
  • Mentor junior engineers in modern JavaScript frameworks and AI-augmented development practices.
  • Communicate technical issues, design documents, system diagrams, and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in technical interviews and help foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Drive process improvements, including adoption of AI-assisted development tools, testing, CI/CD, and cloud architecture best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of professional JavaScript/TypeScript development across the full stack.
  • Strong experience with React or Next.js for modern, responsive front-end applications.
  • Proficiency with Node.js and server-side JavaScript frameworks such as Express or Fastify.
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex full-stack issues.
  • Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
  • Prior government contracting experience is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML services or LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure AI is preferred.
  • Familiarity with RAG, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows is preferred.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker, Terraform, and GitHub Actions is preferred.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards such as Section 508 or WCAG is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Must be a US citizen or legal resident and able to work domestically.
  • Must be able to attain a low-level security clearance.
