Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and mobile testing.
  • Write and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing when needed to support release readiness.
  • Conduct API and backend testing using Postman, RestAssured, SQL queries, and stored procedure validation.
  • Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose permanent fixes.
  • Optimize test execution pipelines within CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitLab CI.
  • Ensure non-functional testing, including performance, load, and security testing, is embedded into delivery cycles.
  • Develop reusable test components and share them across teams.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for QA team members and guide troubleshooting and debugging.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks for UI, API, and mobile testing.
  • Experience writing and executing automated test scripts with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
  • Experience with hands-on functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
  • Experience with API and backend testing tools and methods, including Postman, RestAssured, SQL queries, and stored procedure validation.
  • Experience investigating production issues and performing root cause analysis.
  • Experience optimizing test pipelines in CI/CD environments such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
  • Experience embedding non-functional testing into delivery cycles.
  • Ability to develop reusable test components and support QA teammates through troubleshooting and debugging.
