Description

  • Perform smoke, regression, integration, performance, cross-browser, cross-platform, responsive, and API testing in line with the test plan.
  • Log clear bug reports and track defects using DevOps or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with QC, development, and business teams to execute comprehensive testing.
  • Design detailed, well-structured test cases and review test cases written by junior or mid-level engineers.
  • Prepare and share test result reports after verification with the QA lead.
  • Build project documentation such as user manuals and contribute throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Review and verify business requirements and participate in static testing.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather end-user feedback.
  • Mentor and train junior quality control engineers on company policies, procedures, and assigned tasks.
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and coordinate corrective actions or modifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, information technology, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Professional certification such as ISTQB-CTFL or ISTQB-CTAL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to test software, identify bugs, and resolve errors.
  • Knowledge of testing phases and approaches, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience writing tests, which may involve programming or coding.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills for collaboration across QC, development, and business teams.
  • Ability to multitask, triage issues, adapt to change, and work independently or in teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL commands.
  • Arabic speaker based in Egypt, Morocco, or Lebanon for a remote role.
