Description

  • Establish and maintain the product schedule and roadmap and define, drive, and own milestones and project deliverables.
  • Manage overall project scope and quality, proactively assess and mitigate risks, and prepare contingency plans.
  • Manage resource requirements, establish dependencies, balance priorities, and maintain daily scope and capacity for cross-discipline feature teams.
  • Partner with technical and creative leadership to ensure project vision, feature goals, and deliverables are met on time and on budget.
  • Evaluate development processes for success, iterate processes as the team and product evolve, and champion production practice improvements across the studio.
  • Establish and manage relationships and processes with key stakeholders, publishers, and external partners and coordinate dependencies with stakeholders.
  • Oversee cross-discipline feature teams through all project phases, including post-launch, and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Mentor, coach, and support producers and other team members to build team capability and execution consistency.
  • Establish and maintain regular communication channels with feature teams and stakeholders to keep alignment and transparency.
  • Apply appropriate project management methodologies, tools, and frameworks to drive effective execution across complex projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a producer/project manager capacity across full-cycle projects.
  • Proven track record of successful shipped releases and experience leading medium to large development teams.
  • Strong understanding of the game development cycle from pre-production through release and post-launch.
  • Demonstrable ability to develop and manage clear, adaptable project schedules and delivery plans using project management methodologies and tools.
  • Adept at preparing mitigation and contingency plans and steering production through different development stages.
  • Experience working directly with external partners and publisher stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels and disciplines and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for games and game development.
  • Preferred: university degree or equivalent professional experience, experience in cross-platform development environments, and at least 2 shipped AAA game projects.
  • Preferred: experience with AzureDevOps, Hansoft, JIRA or other project management tools, and Lean/Agile certifications.
