Description

  • Shape and prioritize AI-native product features such as agent-based workflows, AI-assisted triage, remediation, and LLM-powered analysis.
  • Partner with engineering to turn emerging AI concepts into production-ready product features.
  • Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions across models, tools, and platforms.
  • Support other product managers in identifying AI opportunities and converting customer problems into AI-enabled workflows.
  • Define repeatable patterns and internal standards for prompting, evaluation frameworks, and agent design.
  • Work closely with R&D on LLM integrations, APIs, performance characteristics, agent orchestration, and workflow design.
  • Ensure AI features align with developer workflows across IDE, CI/CD, and pull request processes.
  • Rapidly prototype concepts independently or with engineers and iterate based on feedback.
  • Partner with design, sales, and customers to validate workflows early and shorten the path from idea to validated feature.
  • Help define Polaris’s AI strategy, roadmap, and market positioning based on customer demand, competitive activity, and emerging AI capabilities.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of AI and LLM systems, including prompting and evaluation concepts.
  • Experience with agentic workflows such as multi-step reasoning, tool use, and orchestration.
  • Proven ability to work closely with engineering on technical product design.
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices, including CI/CD, Git workflows, APIs, and developer tooling.
  • Ability to break ambiguous problems into structured product requirements.
  • Experience with application security domains such as SAST, SCA, DAST, or ASPM is preferred.
  • Experience with developer tools or DevOps ecosystems is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with AI prototyping tools such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel is preferred.
  • Experience running experiments or evaluating AI systems is preferred.
  • Background as an engineer, data scientist, or highly technical PM is preferred.
