Description

  • Coordinate with compliance operations, product, and technology stakeholders to investigate incidents and issues and determine root causes.
  • Facilitate discussions, assign accountable owners, and ensure action plans are completed through closure.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and develop practical solutions with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Prioritize time and resources on the most important sanctions compliance issues.
  • Oversee operational processes that impact Sanctions Compliance and manage process change controls.
  • Ensure operational changes remain within sanctions compliance guidelines and internal policy.
  • Propose updates to Sanctions Compliance Global Operational Procedures to reflect process changes.
  • Test and tune compliance risk rules to align with global policy.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) before system enhancements are released.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in crypto-related investigations, sanctions, or monitoring.
  • Experience with crypto investigation tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, and TRM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving experience in compliance functions.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment, navigate ambiguity, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Self-starter with initiative, dedication, and creativity.
  • Strong focus on building tools that improve efficiency and value.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to ask the right questions and use sound business judgment when working with a wide range of stakeholders.
