Description

  • Own the product design and iteration of the payment middle platform, order system, and clearing module as a core payment infrastructure product owner.
  • Drive the product roadmap and execution for the global fiat payment platform, with a focus on backend capabilities.
  • Design the full order lifecycle, including order creation, status transitions, timeout handling, and reconciliation closure.
  • Design clearing and settlement workflows, including T+0/T+1 schemes, multi-currency reconciliation, error handling, and fund verification.
  • Define integration strategies for global payment channels such as PSPs, bank rails, and local payment methods.
  • Build and optimize core transaction modules to improve success rates, reduce latency, and strengthen failure handling.
  • Partner with engineering, risk, compliance, and finance teams to support settlement, reconciliation, and fund flow management.
  • Drive platform improvements for global scalability, including multi-region architecture, localization frameworks, and system abstraction.
  • Define, monitor, and improve key system metrics through data analysis and experimentation.
  • Collaborate with internal product teams such as wallet, account, and growth infrastructure to integrate payment capabilities across the ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of product management experience, preferably in payments, fintech, or platform/infrastructure products.
  • Strong experience with payment systems such as payment orchestration, transaction platforms, or cashier/back-end payment systems.
  • Deep understanding of the payment lifecycle, including routing, retries, success rate optimization, and failure handling.
  • Familiarity with backend system design and APIs, with the ability to work closely with engineering teams on system architecture.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience using metrics to guide product decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a global or multi-region environment.
  • Strong ownership, structured thinking, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with global payment methods and bank rails such as ACH, SEPA, FPS, PIX, or UPI, or with large-scale PSP integrations (preferred).
  • Understanding of settlement, reconciliation, ledger systems, or fund flow design (preferred).
  • Exposure to Web3, crypto, or exchange products, or a strong interest in the space (preferred).
