Description

  • Investigate corporate entities and individuals for financial, legal, and reputational risks.
  • Conduct OSINT and public-record research, identify ultimate beneficial ownership, and map complex corporate structures.
  • Screen subjects for anti-money laundering, corruption, and regulatory compliance concerns.
  • Identify abnormal or malicious activity and map networks of bad actors.
  • Document research methods, evidence gathered, analyses, and conclusions.
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide and obtain relevant information.
  • Recommend improvements to the company’s risk framework based on investigative findings.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of OSINT investigations and corporate due diligence.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate investigative findings clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail, professional judgment, security awareness, and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Basic understanding of cryptocurrencies and differences between blockchains and networks.
  • Preferred: proficiency in Chinese, Russian, Spanish, or Turkish.
  • Preferred: familiarity with blockchain analytics tools and block explorers for tracking funds.
  • Preferred: experience researching financial cybercrime, cybercriminal organizations, and their tactics.
  • Preferred: basic understanding of DNS and IP address analysis.
