Description

  • Provide end-to-end compliance coverage for product launches, new features, maintenance, and support within the assigned product portfolio.
  • Implement country-specific product restrictions and other compliance controls across business unit offerings.
  • Assess market opportunities and, where feasible, help enable product availability in restricted markets.
  • Prepare documented regulatory analyses and define required controls to support business expansion.
  • Develop compliance plans with cross-functional teams to align product activity with business objectives and best practices.
  • Work with product teams, global compliance teams, local/regional PoCs, and MLROs to ensure controls are in place, testing is complete, and launches are timely and compliant.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and translate their impact into product and control updates, advisory, and guidance for business teams.
  • Track and analyze global regulatory developments affecting product offerings and communicate actionable guidance to stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across the business to support the Business Compliance function and deliver work effectively.
  • Support other products as needed to provide contingency and global coverage.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Compliance or Regulatory Advisory supporting product launches in crypto, fintech, broker-dealer, exchange, derivatives venue, asset management, payments, or banking environments; global or cross-border experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to deliver compliant launches, including requirements, controls, testing, and go-live.
  • Experience building or operating country or jurisdiction product restriction frameworks, including eligibility, geofencing, disclosures, leverage limits, KYC/AML gating, and marketing constraints.
  • Understanding of crypto exchange products, including custody vs. non-custody, wallets, on-chain vs. off-chain flows, listing lifecycle, stablecoins, and DeFi/Web3 exposure.
  • Ability to translate regulatory obligations into product requirements, control points, monitoring, alerts, and audit trails.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory regimes and recent developments, such as MiCA.
  • Excellent adaptability, communication skills, and stakeholder management ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects based on regulatory risk and business needs.
  • Interest in Web3 and understanding of current regulatory narratives.
  • Practical experience with AI solution implementations for efficiency and controls is preferred.
