Description

  • Conduct research on modern cryptographic protocols for blockchain applications, including post-quantum cryptography, threshold signatures, signature aggregation, and proof systems.
  • Explore and benchmark NIST post-quantum signature standards and related constructions from recent academic literature.
  • Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to apply research findings in practical settings.
  • Publish research results and contribute to open-source cryptographic projects when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Cryptography, or a closely related field.
  • Strong theoretical or practical knowledge of cryptography, including post-quantum signatures, MPC/threshold protocols, zero-knowledge proofs, or interactive proof systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one of Rust, C++, or Python.
  • Ability to read and reason about security proofs from academic literature.
  • Prior research experience or publications in post-quantum cryptography, threshold signatures, or verifiable computation (preferred).
  • Familiarity with blockchain architectures, smart contract platforms, or on-chain signature verification constraints (preferred).
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to accelerate research workflows (preferred).
  • Current university students and recent graduates may apply.
