Description

Own the technical strategy and architecture for smart wallets, account models, signing, session management, and gas abstraction.
Design and evolve ERC-4337 user-operation flows, EIP-7702 delegation, deterministic account derivation, session keys, and permission primitives.
Define paymaster and gas-sponsorship policies, including metering, abuse prevention, and fallback behavior.
Own the security model for dApp-facing wallet providers, transaction confirmations, trust tiers, and origin-bound sessions.
Lead custody and recovery strategy, including migration toward MPC custody and passkey, guardian, and social recovery options.
Drive cross-team technical decisions across wallet, marketplace, SDK, mobile, infrastructure, security, product, and legal teams.
Identify and mitigate risks involving key management, phishing, chain reorganizations, indexers, bundlers, RPCs, and contract upgrades.
Set engineering standards, review critical code and designs, write RFCs, mentor engineers, and improve documentation and tooling.
Serve as the escalation point for complex production wallet and account-abstraction incidents.

Requirements

Deep hands-on expertise with ERC-4337, including EntryPoint v0.6–v0.8, UserOperations, bundlers, paymasters, ERC-7562, gas estimation, counterfactual deployment, and ERC-6492.
Working knowledge of EIP-7702 and its delegation, phishing, storage-collision, and residual-key-authority risks.
Experience building or extending production smart accounts such as Safe, Kernel, Biconomy, or Coinbase Smart Wallet, plus familiarity with ERC-7579 or ERC-6900.
Experience designing session keys, delegated permissions, origin binding, revocation, and ERC-7710 or ERC-7715 flows.
Practical knowledge of EIP-712, ERC-1271, WebAuthn/passkeys, EIP-1193, EIP-6963, EIP-5792, and ERC-7677.
Production experience operating wallets or account-abstraction systems where failures could result in lost funds.
Strong Solidity and EVM skills, including gas-aware design, upgradeability, migrations, audits, and L2 execution differences.
Strong Go skills, including idiomatic development, concurrency, and performance profiling; experience designing TypeScript SDKs.
Experience with distributed systems, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Kafka or NATS, Git, and CI/CD.
Experience with production key management, MPC or threshold signing, wallet threat modeling, and leading cross-team technical initiatives; video game, zkSync, custody, NFT, compliance, identity, mobile, or AI-tool experience is preferred.
