Description

  • Participate in research on decision-quality analysis and continuous improvement for the project.
  • Develop and research statistical algorithms and machine learning models.
  • Use SQL and Python to validate and build production applications of large language models.
  • Extract and analyze data to validate hypotheses and produce actionable conclusions with implementation directions.
  • Assist in producing analytical reports and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with the team to drive project progress.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of AI Agent decisions using statistical and data-analytical methods.
  • Research and develop model optimization algorithms to support iterative project improvements.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or above in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, EE, or a related discipline.
  • Strong Python proficiency, including independently writing data processing and analysis scripts with pandas, numpy, or similar libraries.
  • At least one end-to-end project driven from start to finish with a tangible deliverable.
  • Solid understanding of statistics and machine learning fundamentals, including training and classification evaluation metrics such as precision, recall, confusion matrix, FP/FN, and their business implications.
  • English reading and writing fluency, as all project documentation and code are in English.
  • Strong teamwork mindset and a sense of ownership and responsibility for the project.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT on real projects with a verification mindset.
  • LLM, prompt engineering, or agent project experience.
  • SQL data extraction experience.
  • Background in financial risk, KYC, compliance, or anti-fraud.
  • Current university student or recent graduate.
  • Experience leveraging AI for efficiency while verifying outputs instead of blindly trusting them (preferred).
