Description

  • Continuously monitor CASB, SWG, OAuth, and endpoint telemetry to discover unsanctioned AI tools, browser extensions, and API-level agents.
  • Classify shadow AI findings by risk tier and escalate unauthorized deployments for containment.
  • Investigate alerts involving autonomous agents and AI-powered workflows, including anomalous tool chains, unexpected data access, and credential misuse.
  • Document investigation findings and drive remediation with the Automation Engineer and Identity teams.
  • Monitor DLP and AI usage logs for signs of sensitive data leaving the environment through prompts, uploads, plugins, and MCP connectors.
  • Tune AI security detection rules and validate that AI-specific DLP controls are operating as intended.
  • Monitor developer-facing AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Codex for policy compliance, credential exposure, and non-human identity risk.
  • Maintain and validate AI activity logging and retention controls to ensure auditability.
  • Assemble evidence supporting ISO 42001 audits, EU AI Act readiness, and internal AI impact assessments.
  • Analyze false positive and false negative trends and recommend detection threshold and logic improvements.
  • Partner with Security Operations, Identity, Legal, AI/ML Engineering, and other stakeholders to align findings with incident response and governance reporting.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in security analysis, SOC, or GRC analyst roles.
  • Working knowledge of SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or Google Chronicle.
  • Experience with DLP and CASB tooling.
  • Understanding of AI/LLM risk concepts such as prompt injection, data exfiltration via AI tools, model or agent misuse, and shadow AI.
  • Familiarity with non-human identity concepts, including service accounts, API keys, and OAuth tokens.
  • Understanding of threat detection logic, including MITRE ATT&CK; exposure to MITRE ATLAS or OWASP LLM Top 10 is a plus.
  • Comfort reading and interpreting logs, API telemetry, and structured or unstructured investigation data.
  • Basic scripting or query proficiency in Python, SQL, SPL, or KQL for investigation and reporting.
  • Strong written documentation habits and the ability to translate technical findings into clear, risk-based narratives.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Exposure to AI governance frameworks such as ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, or EU AI Act risk tiers is preferred.
  • Experience supporting audit evidence collection or control testing, such as SOC 2 or ISO, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI and MCP-based tool-use architectures is preferred.
  • Experience with browser extension monitoring or OAuth application audits is preferred.
  • Exposure to ML-based anomaly detection or NLP-driven log analysis is preferred.
  • Security+, CISSP (Associate), or AI-specific certifications are preferred.
