Description

  • Translate business requirements into reliable services with meaningful automated tests.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Java code following engineering best practices.
  • Proactively tune performance and troubleshoot production incidents.
  • Write and maintain clear technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience building high-throughput distributed applications.
  • Proficiency in core Java and the Spring Framework.
  • Proficiency with MySQL and familiarity with at least one NoSQL database.
  • Proficiency in distributed systems design and familiarity with messaging middleware and its design principles.
  • Ability to learn quickly, perform under pressure, and collaborate across time zones.
  • Bilingual English/Mandarin communication skills required for coordinating with overseas partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience tuning JVM, SQL, or RPC performance preferred.
  • KYC or compliance experience preferred.
