Description

  • Own end-to-end finance operations for several APAC legal entities across multiple jurisdictions, including month-end and year-end close.
  • Oversee bank, asset, intercompany, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Review and approve journal entries, accruals, provisions, invoices, payment requests, and other accounting records.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and accounting treatments in line with applicable standards and group policies.
  • Ensure timely statutory, tax, regulatory, and compliance filings in partnership with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Manage relationships with banks, vendors, auditors, accounting providers, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
  • Lead external audits and support statutory, group, tax, and regulatory reviews.
  • Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes, including revenue, expenses, headcount, and local spend.
  • Build financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic decisions and investment planning.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, internal controls, and team development across the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline; CPA, CMA, ACCA, CA, MBA, or Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant finance experience in controllership, accounting, FP&A, audit, or finance business partnering.
  • Experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Regional Controller, or Finance Business Partner in a multinational, listed, technology, fintech, financial services, or high-growth company preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, statutory reporting, tax filings, general ledger operations, and month-end/year-end close.
  • Experience managing finance operations across multiple APAC jurisdictions strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, audit processes, accounting policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP, accounting, consolidation, and financial planning systems.
  • Excellent financial modeling, analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate clearly and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Interest in digital assets, crypto, blockchain, fintech, or Web3 is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
