Description

  • Use LLM-driven agents to automate reconnaissance, attack-path discovery, proof-of-concept generation, and false-positive triage across cloud infrastructure, internal applications, and APIs.
  • Benchmark AI-generated penetration-testing findings against human-led assessments and optimize detection accuracy and coverage.
  • Identify critical CVEs and cloud misconfigurations, and generate actionable remediation recommendations.
  • Analyze logs from diverse systems to detect suspicious activity, identify threats, and generate alerts.
  • Identify vulnerabilities in LLM applications, AI agents, and MCP servers, including prompt injection, jailbreaks, tool misuse, data exfiltration, and privilege escalation.
  • Translate red-team findings into security controls such as least-privilege IAM, sandboxing, input/output filtering, approval workflows, and audit logging.
  • Integrate AI security regression testing into CI pipelines to validate models, prompts, and tools before production deployment.
  • Help secure large-scale AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud environments, including CI/CD and artifact pipelines.

Requirements

  • Major in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure, including having deployed a project independently.
  • Hands-on experience using LLMs and coding agents for at least one security task, such as code review, reconnaissance, or vulnerability analysis.
  • Experience with AI/ML and LLM prompt injection or jailbreaks through internships, work, research, or competitions.
  • Understanding of modern AI technologies, including LLMs, agents, and deep learning, their strengths and limitations.
  • Ability to apply AI tools to real-world problems and use AI actively in daily research and development.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills for ambiguous, adversarial security challenges.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to commit consistent weekly hours for an internship of at least 6 months (preferred).
  • Exposure to security fundamentals, cloud infrastructure security, OWASP guidance for LLM and agentic applications, or MITRE ATLAS (preferred).
