Description

  • Review marketing campaigns, advertisements, disclosures, claims, digital content, and other public-facing materials for regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Legal, Risk, and business stakeholders to identify and mitigate compliance risks during campaign development.
  • Research federal and state regulatory developments and translate requirements into practical business guidance.
  • Develop and maintain marketing compliance policies, procedures, review frameworks, approval processes, guidance documents, and training materials.
  • Support scalable marketing review and approval workflows while maintaining compliance oversight and documentation.
  • Conduct monitoring activities to assess marketing compliance and identify control gaps or improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with internal audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance inquiries involving marketing and customer communications.
  • Develop compliance reporting and metrics to track effectiveness and emerging risks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in compliance, legal, regulatory, marketing compliance, consumer lending, banking, financial services, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of consumer financial services regulations, advertising requirements, UDAAP principles, CFPB guidance, and customer communication standards.
  • Experience reviewing marketing materials, advertising, disclosures, lead generation, digital content, or customer-facing communications in a regulated industry.
  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and workflow or document management tools; Asana and Kadince are a plus.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.
  • CRCM or another relevant compliance certification is preferred.
  • Travel is required during the first six months, followed by approximately 5% annual travel; candidates must have valid U.S. work authorization without current or future sponsorship requirements.
