Description

  • Analyze tax returns, personal financial statements, and credit reports to assess credit risk and lending exposure.
  • Perform cash flow analysis to support underwriting decisions.
  • Review applications for completeness, conduct credit investigations, and document loan decisions.
  • Prepare loan packages in compliance with department policies and procedures.
  • Develop working knowledge of credit concepts, practices, policies, and procedures relevant to businesses.
  • Assess loan risk factors and make creditworthiness decisions.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure clear communication and effective workflow.
  • Assist with credit-related projects and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in accounting, tax, or the financial industry preferred, or 2+ years of experience with administrative and clerical duties.
  • College coursework in business administration, finance, accounting, mathematics, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with credit reports and personal and corporate tax returns is required.
  • Familiarity with tax transcripts is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills are required.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong quality, accuracy, and communication skills with a service-oriented, customer-focused, team-player mindset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Ability to work at a computer for 8+ hours per day and communicate professionally via video calls.
  • Valid U.S. work authorization is required; employer sponsorship is not available.
  • Travel is required during the first 6 months for the BHG Oars in Experience, with ongoing travel of approximately 5% annually thereafter.
