Description

  • Lead end-to-end fund migrations from incumbent administrators to the AngelList platform.
  • Manage multiple concurrent migration projects by building plans, tracking milestones, managing risks, and ensuring timely implementation.
  • Review and validate migrated fund data, including investor capital accounts, general ledger balances, investment portfolios, commitments, capital activity, waterfall calculations, and historical financial information.
  • Partner with clients and external stakeholders to gather information, manage expectations, resolve issues, and provide regular project updates.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of fund migration specialists through technical guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to reduce manual work and improve the client onboarding experience.
  • Ensure migrations are completed accurately, on schedule, and with minimal operational disruption while building trusted client relationships.
  • Collaborate with fund accounting team members and cross-functional operations teams throughout the migration process.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in public accounting, fund administration, fund accounting, investment operations, or a related financial services environment supporting alternative investment funds.
  • 3+ years of project management experience leading complex client implementations, fund onboardings, or large-scale operational initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • People management experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of alternative investment structures, including private equity, venture capital, and/or digital asset funds.
  • Solid understanding of investment company accounting, including ASC 946.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with clients, senior leadership, external service providers, and cross-functional internal teams.
  • CPA license preferred but not required.
  • An instinct to question existing processes and use AI and automation to build better ones.
  • Fully remote work eligibility for candidates located in the United States or Canada.
