Description

  • Approach UX challenges with empathy and a user-centered mindset.
  • Work across a suite of products and consider the impact of UX decisions on the broader system.
  • Collaborate with product management and product development teams in an agile UX process.
  • Create and communicate interaction and UX design decisions through user stories, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Develop and maintain design mockups, user flows, wireframes, detailed specifications, and other design documents.
  • Prototype concepts and validate design direction with users and stakeholders.
  • Conduct and support human-centered research activities such as usability testing, contextual interviews, and stakeholder interviews.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver and support the best possible user experience.
  • Define interaction models, user task flows, UI specifications, and measurable success metrics.
  • Translate research findings into actionable, testable solutions and help guide implementation from research through delivery.

Requirements

  • US citizenship or Green Card required; sponsorship is not offered.
  • Must have resided in the US for at least the past 3 years.
  • Must be able to meet Public Trust requirements, including a successful US Government background investigation.
  • Experience working within agile UX processes and cross-functional product teams.
  • Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, design specifications, and related UX documentation.
  • Experience with human-centered research methods such as usability testing and interviews.
  • Familiarity with human-computer interaction (HCI) best practices and design heuristic evaluations.
  • Ability to use online research tools such as screen readers.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting scenarios, personas, and design decisions to stakeholders and team members.
  • Experience supporting healthcare or similarly complex software systems is preferred.
