Description

  • Serve as Technical Lead for the Access & Submission (A&S) team, providing guidance, technical oversight, and direction for engineering work and delivery.
  • Scope, estimate, design, and deliver medium-to-large features end-to-end while actively reducing technical debt across projects or products.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain backend applications using Go (mandatory), Python, and Java.
  • Build and maintain frontend components using Angular, HTML, and TypeScript (or similar frameworks).
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation from commit to production (Jenkins and Git/GitHub workflows).
  • Design and maintain relational database schemas and queries using SQL (PostgreSQL).
  • Design, provision, and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams using Agile practices; support team processes to ensure steady delivery to production.
  • Coordinate incident readiness and mitigation plans, provide feedback, and foster a positive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience with Go (Golang) is mandatory.
  • Experience with at least two of: Python, TypeScript, and Java.
  • Frontend development experience with frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with fully automated CI/CD pipelines (commit to production).
  • Relational database experience (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Experience with AWS services; AWS Lambda and AWS Glue experience preferred.
  • Experience with Jenkins preferred and AWS certifications are a plus.
  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship; has lived in the U.S. for at least the past 3 years and must be able to pass a government background investigation to hold a Public Trust (federal restrictions such as marijuana use may affect eligibility).

  • Salary range: $150,000 - $182,400 USD per year.
  • Four weeks paid time off annually (prorated in first year) and 10 paid company holidays.
