Description

  • Own product direction across analytics, data pipelines, and reporting systems.
  • Define and execute a roadmap focused on scalability, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify modernization opportunities across legacy analytics workflows and tooling.
  • Reduce manual processes, redundant validations, and siloed development.
  • Translate complex data workflows into clear product requirements and deliverables.
  • Partner with engineering to shape data models, ETL pipelines, and distributed processing systems.
  • Ensure data products meet standards for accuracy, performance, reliability, lineage, traceability, and documentation.
  • Work closely with data engineers on PySpark, Databricks, and distributed systems design.
  • Lead backlog prioritization across competing data and reporting needs.
  • Drive coordination across engineering, analytics, reporting, and stakeholder groups.
  • Proactively manage risks related to data accuracy, delivery, and dependencies.
  • Improve team operating models, ownership structures, and delivery processes to support scalable execution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager building digital products in a cross-functional agile environment.
  • Strong experience owning products involving data pipelines, analytics, or reporting systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills with business, technical, and creative stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of requirements management, including defining, writing, testing, acceptance criteria, and definition of done.
  • Strong command of modern product management practices such as user-centered design, continuous discovery, and outcome-oriented prioritization.
  • Proven ability to drive progress and operate independently in ambiguous, high-pressure environments.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing consulting or contracting role.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, data quality, validation, and governance practices.
  • Experience partnering closely with data engineers and backend teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with complex systems and multiple dependencies.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of product management experience in complex, data-driven environments.
  • Preferred: Experience with Databricks, Spark, or similar large-scale data platforms.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, and Lambda.
  • Preferred: Experience in healthcare data, CMS programs, or regulated environments.
  • Preferred: Experience modernizing legacy data systems or analytics workflows.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with FHIR, eCQM, or quality reporting systems.
  • Preferred: Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder, with U.S. residency for at least the past 3 years and eligibility for Public Trust clearance.
