Description

  • Design, build, and implement new services across the full development cycle.
  • Write elegant, well-tested code in a modern serverless technology stack.
  • Build internal libraries and frameworks that improve development speed and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the product team on architecture and design decisions.
  • Participate in stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Help shape and drive an engineering culture focused on simple, intuitive, high-impact experiences.
  • Own end-to-end work across servers, databases, API integrations, and final UI implementation.
  • Scale and automate existing services while bringing new product ideas to life.
  • Contribute to product strategy and development in a highly collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Next.js and SST.
  • Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Experience as a full-stack generalist building products from 0 to 1.
  • Strong backend experience across SST, Drizzle, Node, and AWS services such as SQS, EventBridge, and Lambda.
  • Experience with SQL databases and database schema design.
  • Ability to work independently and own entire projects or large parts of the codebase.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical problems, constraints, and timelines.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment.
  • Experience building paid products and services is preferred.
