Description

  • Partner with the MedicatOne Product Manager and CTPO to shape the AI roadmap and product vision.
  • Translate provider pain points, workflow gaps, and healthcare data challenges into AI product proposals.
  • Lead discovery sessions with clients and stakeholders to validate product direction and surface unmet needs.
  • Serve as a senior contact for strategic client conversations, prospect discussions, RFPs, and industry forums.
  • Design, build, and ship AI features from prototype to production.
  • Write production-quality code for LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, vector search, and data workflows.
  • Own the end-to-end architecture of AI systems, including data ingestion, retrieval, API design, and deployment.
  • Ensure AI implementations are reliable, HIPAA-compliant, scalable, and well-reviewed.
  • Coach engineers and product teammates through code review, pairing, and direct feedback.
  • Establish and maintain review processes and governance for employee-created AI tools and automations.

Requirements

  • Must currently reside in the United States.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Meaningful experience in healthcare SaaS, health systems, or digital health, ideally in an EHR environment.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare data standards including HL7 v2, FHIR (R4 preferred), and CCD/CCDA.
  • Direct experience with HIPAA compliance, PHI handling, de-identification, and regulated healthcare privacy constraints.
  • 6+ years in product engineering, technical product management, or a hands-on hybrid B2B SaaS role.
  • At least 3 years personally building AI or ML-powered features in production.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM API integrations such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
  • Working knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases, embedding models, and unstructured data indexing.
  • Comfort with SQL, data modeling, analytics workflows, and backend/API design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
  • College health, student health, or behavioral health experience is a strong plus.
