Description

  • Develop test plans that evaluate product scalability, fault tolerance, stability, and backward compatibility.
  • Build, improve, and maintain scalable test automation strategies.
  • Evaluate and select approaches and technologies for test methodologies.
  • Diagnose, track, and manage quality issues through resolution.
  • Serve as a quality gatekeeper for products under development.
  • Collaborate with backend, analytics, and big data engineering teams on release quality.
  • Own testing efforts and support release readiness for assigned teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in software testing, automation testing, and test development roles.
  • 1+ years of coding experience in Java and Python.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, including performance testing for load and concurrency.
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment, plus test coverage analysis.
  • Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and problem-solving mindset.
  • Preferred: experience testing distributed systems or service-oriented architectures.
  • Preferred: experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop and Kafka.
  • Preferred: working knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS EC2, Docker, Redshift, and EMR.
  • Preferred: testing experience for analytics, dashboards, and visualization software products.
